Neuromodulators

No initial consultation is required. Before treatment, your provider will evaluate your facial anatomy, muscle movement, and aesthetic goals. They'll identify the areas of concerns such as forehead lines, crow's feet, or frown lines and determine the number of units and exact injection points needed for optimal results.

The treatment area is gently cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, or debris. While the procedure is generally well-tolerated, an ice pack can be applied to numb the area to minimize discomfort if desired.

Using a very fine, short needle, your provider injects small amounts of the neuromodulator into specific muscles just beneath the skin. Each injection takes only seconds, and the number of injections varies depending on the treatments area. The goal is to relax the targeted muscles just enough to soften wrinkles without affecting natural expression.

After the injections, mild redness or pinpoint bruising may occur, but these effects usually subside within a few hours to a couple of days. Patients are advised to:

• Stay upright for 4 hours
• Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area
• Refrain from strenuous exercise for 24 hours

Most patients begin to see visible smoothing of wrinkles within 3-7 days, with full results in about 10-14 days, which we recommend a follow-up appointment around this time to ensure we achieved your goal or if touch-ups are needed.. The effects typically last 3-4 months, at which point a maintenance treatment is recommended.
