Moveo Pigmented Lesion Treatment

Your treatment process begins with a professional consultation, during which your provider examines your skin to identify the type and depth pf pigmentation you want to treat. They will also assess your skin type and review your medical history.

The targeted area is gently cleansed to remove any makeup, lotions, or oils. Protective eyewear is then provided the shield your eyes from the laser light during the procedure. Your provider may apply a thin layer of gel to improve the glide of the laser handpiece, although this step may not be necessary due to Moveo's integrated cooling system. The sapphire tip of the device provides constant contact cooling, which protects the outer skin layer and enhances comfort throughout the session.

Your provider then begins the treatment by moving the laser handpiece in a slow, continuous, back-and-forth motion over the pigmented area. The Moveo technology gradually heats the pigmented in the skin using Alexandrite laser energy. This energy is absorbed by the melanin, gently breaking it down without harming the surrounding tissue. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild warmth or tingling, with little to no discomfort.

After the treatment, the area may appear slightly darker or red, which is normal and temporary. Your provider will gently clean the area and may apply a soothing serum or lotion to calm the skin. Post-treatment care instructions are given, which typically include:

• Avoid sun exposure and heat for 24 hours
• Avoid using harsh skincare products for 24-48 hours
• Wear sunscreen daily

Over the following days to weeks, the treated pigment will gradually fade or flake off as your skin renews itself, revealing a more even radiant complexion. Depending on the type and severity of pigmentation, multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results.
