During your consultation, your provider will perform a skin evaluation. During this initial step, the provider will assess your individual skin concerns, such as pigmentation, redness, or uneven texture, and determine your skin type to ensure a safe and effective treatment plan. 

Before the procedure begins, the skin is cleansed throuroughly to remove any makeup, oil, or surface debris. Depending on your skin condition, a protective gel may be applied to aid smooth gliding of the handpiece, although its not always necessary due to the device's integrated sapphire cooling tip. You will be given protective eyewear to wear throughout the procedure. 

The Moveo GLO treatment consists of two distinct phases, each utilizing a different laser wavelength delivered via the same handpiece. The first phase uses the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength, which targets pigmentation and dullness. The provider gently glides the handpiece across the skin in slow, overlapping passes. This wavelength penetrates superficially to break down excess melanin and initiate gentle exfoliation and brightening, while the sapphire tip keeps the surface cool and comfortable throughout. Once the Alexandrite phase is complete, the second phase begins using the 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength. This wavelength reaches deeper into the skin to target vascular irregularities, diffuse redness, and stimulate collages remodeling. Again, the handpiece is moved in smooth, continuous passes across the treatment area. This step not only addresses redness and capillaries but also contributes to improved skin tone,, firmness, and long-term rejuvenation. Each part of the face is treated methodically, typically with two to our passes per wavelength. The full procedure usually takes between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area treated. 

After the treatment is completed, any remaining gel is gently removed and the skin is cleansed. A calming serum or moisturizer is applied, followed by a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect the freshly treated skin. Patients may experience slight redness or warmth immediately afterward, but this typically fades within a few hours. Following the procedure your provider will recommend:

• Avoid direct sun exposure, heat, or strenuous activity for 24-48 hours
• Use gentle skincare products and avoid active ingredients like retinols or exfoliants for a few days
• Use sunscreen daily to protect your results

Most patients begin to notice an improvement in skin clarity and brightness within the first week, with continued benefits as collagen production increases. For best results, a series of 3-5 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart is typically recommended.
